What do we have to do before the painting starts?

When we arrive at your premises to start work we are expecting to handle everything ourselves, we will move all furniture where needed, remove pictures from walls and take down all window furnishings, the only thing we may ask of you is to empty out any display cabinets that may have breakable items inside and trim trees and gardens so that we have access to surfaces.

What kind of paint do you use?

We have relationships with all the major paint brands but for our normal day to day painting Taubmans is our brand of choice, we are happy to use other brands if that is your preference.

How much does it cost to paint a house?

The cost of house painting can vary greatly on the size, style, age and condition of a house but as a guide the cost to paint the inside and outside of a modern single level 3 bedroom house could be anywhere between $3,500.00 - $7,000.00.

How often should you repaint the interior of a premises?

There are many factors to take into consideration and each home can be different but a quality paint job that is well looked after should last around 10 years.

How often should I paint the exterior of my premises?

There are also many factors involved here and the quality of the paint is a big factor, unlike internal paint, external paint needs to have the right build thickness and the right preparation to ensure a long lasting job, as a general rule exteriors get repainted every 7 to 10 years.

Do you charge for quotes?

No we don't, quotes are free.

Will it be cheaper if we buy the paint?

No it wont, as we buy a lot of paint we have relationships with our suppliers that enables us to be able to buy the paint and materials at a cheaper rate, which is passed onto you the client.

Can you price match another quote?

Unfortunately no we do not price match but we are always willing to discuss pricing options.
